My name is Sarah Hodges Stalls. I am the Director of Communications for NERSBA. I joined the NERSBA team after nearly 15 years with Beaufort County Schools where I served as Public Information Officer for the majority of that time. It was my pleasure to be on the original team that established the Northeast Regional Ag Expo which originated in Beaufort County. I still work with this event through NERSBA.
My role at NERSBA includes helping promote the mission of our school, strengthening school to home communications and recruitment. I thoroughly enjoy all opportunities to work with our students whether it is in Smart Period or helping them figure out the question of the day.
I received a Bachelor's Degree in Communications from Atlantic Christian College, now Barton, in Wilson, NC. Go Bulldogs! My professional career began at WITN TV in the Production Department. I spent time with the American Cancer Society as a Volunteer Manager in the northeastern corner of North Carolina. Later, I was able to reunite my loves for writing and photography by working for The Washington Daily News as an education and crime reporter.
A long-time New York Mets fan, I can always find time for baseball. My favorite pastimes include photography and writing, playing the piano and supporting the activities of my church. I am a native of the Farm Life Community where I live with my husband, Bobby.
