National Honor Society members from the Northeast Regional School of Biotechnology and Agriscience traveled to Washington, DC on November 14-16, 2019. While there, they explored the National Mall and visited various museums including the African American Smithsonian, the Natural History Smithsonian, and the American History Smithsonian. The students also enjoyed a night tour of the city’s iconic monuments and sites. On Friday, the organization participated in laying a wreath ceremony at the Tomb of the Unknown Soldier in Arlington National Cemetery after a cemetery tour. On Saturday the group toured the United States Holocaust Memorial Museum.
