NERSBA Students Represent at Regional Rally
Graduating student retires from regional office position as another is elected
On Friday, April 27, students from the Northeast Regional School of Biotechnology and Agriscience attended the FFA Northeast Regional Rally at College of the Albemarle in Elizabeth City. These students competed in various Career Development Events.
Our Parliamentary Procedure CDE team, consisting of Blake Paul, Logan Modlin, Allie Dickinson, Destiny Vanhorn, Michelle Olivares, and Noah Modlin; placed second in the region. Our Creed speaker, Madison Nay, placed first in the region. NERSBA’s Intro to Horticulture team consisting of Autumn Kraft, Hailie Waters, Esther Perez, and Robert Augburn, placed third in the region. Competing as a Prepared Public Speaker, Naomi Turner placed second in the region. These students are going on to compete at State Convention in June.
Blake Paul, a graduating Super Senior at NERSBA, retired from his position as regional treasurer after his year of service. Paul also received a University of Mount Olive Scholarship. Naomi Turner was elected as regional treasurer.
NERSBA also had a Tool Identification Team consisting of Jonah Bennett, Will Battershell, and Dylan Jackson, as well as an Extemporaneous Public Speaker, Colby Cannon.
During this event, NERSBA was recognized for a first place finish by our Junior and Senior teams in a previous Farm Business Management State Competition.

Blake Paul, soon to be a graduate of NERSBA, retired as a Regional Officer.
